5.9 Testing
Once all the sensors have been mounted and connected, the traction control can be
powered up. Each wheel in turn can be spun and the LED on the sensor should
flash at each pick up point.
The car will now need to be tested by driving the vehicle. The best way to do this is
by using the real time function of the software that has been supplied with the traction
control.
The above screen shows that two of the sensors are being picked up earlier than the
other two. This is due to the rear having more pick up points than the front. This is
not a problem unless the two sensors that pick up later are not registering before
14km/h.
